The journey of Electra Koko-Tawa Weld Pvt. Ltd. began in 1985, inside a modest workshop in Noida. Founded by Mr. Kamal Kumar, the brand was born with one unwavering mission: to build welding machines in India that would match the best in the world, but remain affordable, service-friendly, and designed for Indian industries.
In the early days, the company repaired welding machines for local fabricators. But it quickly became clear that India needed more than repair services — it needed its own indigenous manufacturing powerhouse.
By 1989, Electra had begun producing small welding transformers, built with unmatched quality and durability. By 1991, the first full-fledged welding machine factory was operational in Noida, marking the start of an extraordinary journey.
In 1995, Electra achieved a major breakthrough by bringing Japanese KOKO-TAWA precision technology to India. This was not just an upgrade in machinery, but a complete shift in philosophy. Our welding machines were now:
This combination of Japanese innovation and Indian resilience became the foundation of our success.

Electra Koko-Tawa Weld Pvt.

Established in 1996 by Mr. Kamal Kumar, Electra Koko Tawa is one of North India’s largest welding machine manufacturers, headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Built on quality and continual product development.
