Forged in 1985 – A Dream Turns into a Legacy

Electra Koko-Tawa Weld Pvt. Ltd. began its journey in 1985 in a small workshop in Noida. Founded by Mr. Kamal Kumar, the company started with a clear vision — to manufacture high-quality welding machines in India that are affordable, durable, and easy to maintain.

What began as a repair service for local fabricators soon transformed into a full-scale manufacturing operation. By 1989, Electra started producing welding transformers, and by 1991, its first dedicated manufacturing unit was operational.

In 1995, Electra introduced advanced KOKO-TAWA Japanese technology into India, improving both performance and design standards in the welding industry.
